Director's cuts have been further popularized by the successful release of Zack Snyder's Justice League following a successful fan campaign, but we shouldn't expect to see a longer version of Thor: Love and Thunder. Directed by Taika Waititi, Love and Thunder is the fourth solo Thor film to feature Chris Hemsworth in the role of the titular god. He is joined by Natalile Portman as Jane "Mighty Thor" Foster and Christian Bale as the sympathetic but sinister supervillain Gorr the God Butcher.
