It's been officially confirmed that Jeff Goldblum will appear in the big screen adaptation of Wicked. Previously, it had been reported that Goldblum had joined the cast of Wicked alongside Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The film, which will be released in two parts, is directly based on The Wizard of Oz, serving as a prequel that focuses on the witches. Last fall, word broke that Goldblum had been cast in a key role as the Wizard, and in a new interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor officially confirmed his involvement.
