In an exclusive chat with MovieWeb, the writer behind Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie, Andy Breckman, revealed that he has a great idea for a sequel...but he hasn’t told Tony Shalhoub about it yet. Both Breckman and Shalhoub were asked what they would like to see should Monk return for another feature-length adventure (despite the movie being called Mr. Monk's Last Case), with the writer revealing that he will have to get approval from his wife first.
