When James Gunn was announced as one half of the new team behind the DCU, many fans immediately asked which of his favorite Marvel stars would be following him to DC Studios. Karen Gillan made it clear that having played Nebula in Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and other MCU films, she would be more than happy to play Poison Ivy in the writer/director’s new venture. It seems that not much has changed, as Gillan recently reiterated her desire to play a specific version of the flora-loving villain.
